• Pulls self to standing position, cruises• Picks things up with thumb-finger "pincer" grasp• Indicates wants with gestures

First Teeth (2 lower front) are now visible when she smiles or open her tiny mouth

How is she growing: Diantha is cruising this month — getting around while holding onto furniture for support and flexing those leg muscles in preparation for full-fledged walking.. Because she's so mobile, it's vital that our home be safe and kidproof. I even lowered her playpen and removed the bassinet so she can move freely. I also notice she's becoming more assertive and beginning to express her likes and dislikes. Take a toy away from her, and she'll object loudly with a shriek! Now she giggles and hug me tightly whenever her kuya Denzel & Dale tries to play chase with her and same goes whenever I needed to give her to her nanny. She's also likely to protest if you leave her too long, thanks to the onset of separation anxiety. This is the time when most babies starts showing extreme attachment to their mothers and an intense dislike for everyone else.
