Baby Shower for Sisterette Beth's Baby Rein...

Congratulating Rein's Mommy Beth & Daddy Archie...

It was an evening of fun plus some emotional moment @ the Shower Party hosted by us, the sisterettes, for Archie & Beth & before long...their much awaited bundle of joy, Renee Issabelle or Rein... on Saturday, 27th of November. It was half past 2 when Agnes (the diva sisterette!) came and prepared the stuff for the baby shower games. Then, Sisterettes Nila & Judee followed @ exactly 4 pm and we decorated my place with yellow & red balloons since we're having a "Winnie the Pooh" party theme. Sisterette Joan & her baby Jett came too, just a minute after Nila & Judee came. All was set...and we're just waiting for baby Rein's proud & excited parents . We had a light snack of "shawarma, chocolate brownies & chocolate chips" after embellishing the place with all the balloons & curled ribbons . Sisterettes also prepared a personalized post cards for the couple & their baby a week before the party... it's part of our surprise with our matching personalized cake!

Mommy Beth & Daddy Archie arrived around 6:30 pm and with them are several pints of yummy " Chokchai Farm Ice Cream"!!! hmmm... Party started with a simple dinner... white sauced spaghetti & a KFC bucket chicken. Followed by some chit-chats , then the games :

1. Bottle Feed Relay ( 2 groups : Husbands vs. Wives; Adult Diapers; 2 baby bibs)
2. The Search for Safety Pins (Teenage Fumblings)
3. Tossing the baby bottles (bowling style for kids)

The main part of the party was the emotional Baby Shower Wishes... We turned the lights off, then placed the cake on the table (in front of the celebrated parents)...then one by one, we lit a candle and said our personal wishes for the baby & the soon to be parents...It was really tearful, moving & unforgettable part of the shower... The couple then opened the baby presents...

We also had the usual and the most important thing of every event...Picture Takings!!!
