Arrival in the Garden City... X'mas Eve : 10:50pmPosted by Hello

We left Bangkok around 2:30 p.m. aboard Khun Tongbay's red car and reached Pattaya where Utapao airport is located @ around 5:15 pm. Checking in took us awhile because the airport's Xray machine experienced some computer trouble. Utapao Airport is just a small airport which is run by the Military. It is newly opened to cater travelers & tourists who wishes to visit Pattaya & in its neigbouring provinces. We decided to go to the said airport as we also planned to stay at Jomtien Beach & visit Hard Rock Cafe after our Holidays in Singapore. We arrived in Changi Airport @ 10:45 on Christmas Eve and celebrated Christmas inside the Train Station as people around started their countdown !... We're not able to avail free tickets for the Hippo Bus Tour, one of our Itinerary on the 3rd Day, all seats from the nights of Dec. 24-26 were all taken...whoa! It's gonna be a very hectic holidays for us...as I can see a lot of people visiting Singapore this season...

Dale @ Professor Yakult Playground Posted by Hello Ular-Lah Raft Slide with Denzmay Posted by Hello

Singapore's largest water theme park is gallons of fun for the whole family. We raced alongs rapids & braved a tidal wave ahead on @ Wall's tsunami ! I even enjoyed the showery cold water with matching playground @ the Yippee ! corner and our kids, Denzel & Dale had it their way in the Yakult Professor's Playground with hidden water cannons, fountains as they kept jumping & sliding with joy! I was even thankful that baby & me were still able to fit in my swimming suit! hehehe... We are scheduled to leave the water park before 5 p.m. but Denzel doesn't want to leave not until he tried the Ular-lah & the Waterworks...so he & his Papa braced themselves as they tried their guts to ride South East Asia's first six-seater raft ride which send them into a spin (Ular-Lah) & then later the Waterworks where they twist & turn through the tube slide before finally splashing into the pool at full speed! Whew ! to sum it all, we never make it on time as planned...there's still so much to see and try, but we ran-out of time as we finally said adios to the water past 7 !!! hehehe...

Merry Christmas ! our Water Adventure is done! Posted by Hello

Orchard Road on Christmas Day Posted by Hello

the brightly lit & colorful Orchard! Posted by Hello
    We've got mesmerized by the
colorful & brightly lit streets of Orchard...There are so many Christmas Trees of all kinds & sizes, beautifully embellished with all kinds of beautiful and jolly Christmas Garlands & Ornaments!
Ngee Ann City also boasted a huge Christmas Tree inside the Takashimaya Mall & a Bazaar outside as a giant SnowMan welcomes visitors...There are so many, many ... and as in... many people from all walks of life in the street & it really was " Siksikan!" Whew... A Nativity was also one attraction not to be missed along the street of Ngee Ann City.

the Giant SnowMan and the Orchard Nativity Posted by Hello
I cannot wait to get inside the mall as
I was all so excited...because hubby told me he'll buy me a present @Tiffany! but the excitement becomes sudden unhappiness because the store was closed as early as 6pm that day and we reached the store half past 8 ...So, we promised to just go back the next day or on our last day... we took my Christmas Belly Picture here instead! that'll do for now...

SilkPro celebration Tree Posted by Hello

Along the Road of Orchard...is a gigantic Christmas Tree in the heart of the city... The SilkPro 100 metres Celebration Tree which is almost Skyhigh was simply grandeur!!! There's a Skate Boarding Corner at the side & several festival rides...but with our hectic day in the water park...we didn't have the energy to try those rides but we just kept wandering around and feasted our eyes with the colorful & brightly decorated Christmas Spirited streets of Orchard...before finally calling the Christmas day off.

Our itinerary for the day's already way behind sched...we're supposed to stay in Snow City from 11-1 pm max...but then, we got lost looking for the bus station heading to Jurong East ...so we had to go back & take the SMRT and it had took much of our time ! tsk-tsk..So, we arrived to our location @ 12:15 p.m. expecting that we could get the 1:45 p.m. slot...but then, it was fully booked and we had to wait for the next sched which was the 2:45 slot ! whew! nevertheless, we just filled our time looking around and discovering the Science Centre instead & it's just worth it anyway...

Denzel & Dale in their Snowy Adventure Posted by Hello

Snow City is Singapore's first indoor snow centre. It is maintained at minus 5 deg. Celsius. Denzel & Dale enjoyed touching real snow as they snowball fight with each other and with their Papa .They tried the thrilling rides down the slope which is almost 3-storeys high on rubber tubes! Santa was also around inside with several gigantic SnowMen. They even met Snowy Bear, Snow City's Mascot.

Whoo-Hoo! At long last ! It's our turn inside the City of Snow !!! We're all set ...coats on, boots up, winter gloves ok...what's missing? the SNOW !!! Let's go ! But ooppss... Mama can't come with us...preggy mom's not allowed...the sudden rise of temperature is not advisable for our baby & for Mama as well...

the experience inside was almost the same as what Snow Town in Dream World have... but hubby told me that the latter in Dream World is much better... hmm...but what really count is that, we've seen Singapore's version of Snow City and at the same time...our kids experienced SNOW be it real or artificial on Christmastime !

Day 3 : Third Activity... Rediscover the All New Sentosa !

    December 26 (Sunday)

    rediscovering Sentosa... Posted by Hello

After the freezing & thrilling adventures @ Snow City, our family continued with our journey...this time, we rediscover the enchanting Sentosa. It was newly renovated & still being renovated @ the moment..as you'll witness several infrastracture ongoing inside the island. It was almost 5 years since we last stepped foot here with my in-laws (Ma, Ate Jehn & Daryl) & we are so eager and so excited to view this magical island once more ! Dale was barely 1 year old that time & for sure he can't recall this place at all and it's just about time to relived his memory now that he's 4...

Welcome back to SENTOSA! Posted by Hello let's have break...shall we?... Posted by Hello

It has been a quite busy day so we decided to sit down @ Delifrance and munch on some chicken & tuna-egg sandwiches matched with pumpkin soup, as we sipped our hot coffee & tea to regain some energy...hehehe...There's going to be a lot of walkings to do inside...
    It's still as
lovely and as enchanting as it was before... This country really is the Garden City of Asia ! we are seated @ the Garden Fountain... Posted by Hello

We're wonderin' what's new inside the Merlion? hmm..Come on! Let's find out & get inside...

It's an all new merlion experience inside! They built a Mini Theather which showcases the History of Singapore & the Merlion... wishing cubs were additional attractions as we tried our luck with the adorable Merlion cubs. I was just lucky to have a Sentosa Fan with an attached key chain...not bad! What's missing is the corner wherein one can dressed-up & pretend like pirates ... but nevertheless...everythings' close to perfect!

Whew! the 7:40 show was closed although we reached the grand stand as early as 7:15! it was jam-packed that the staff need to close the gate & just let the others like us, wait for the next & final show @ 8:40...tsk-tsk...another shopping schedule cancelled! We're scheduled to go right to Orchard after Sentosa..but to no avail...anyways, the famous fountain & Sentosa's highlight was really magnificent indeed! It is one worth waiting for... They now have a Mascot named Kiki who's just so wacky! A Fountain Master who actually sounded like Pinoy to me...was also a new addition which made the show more livelier. Water, Lights, Music & FIRE was presented @ the Fountain! Cool ! Our kids & the kids at hearts alike really enjoyed the show...
