Brazilian Touch with my Dearest Valentine on Heart's Day
Celebrating the Seasons of Love... @ FOGO VIVO (Hotel Intercon / President Tower)
Reservations for two. Lunch time please (dear husband on a night shift). Hubby's been talking about his dining experiences in Brazil during his stay there some years ago and he'd been looking forward of sharing the experience with me since then. It was only now that we decided to have a GO for it. The place is called " FO GO VI VO" : a Brazilian Churrascaria & Bar located @ the Hotel Intercontinental & President Arcade Tower's Ground Floor, Phloenchit Road besides the Gaysorn Plaza. When we got there, the very first sight we had was an empty room...and we said, "Oopps! are we the first customer of the day?"...then a lady led us to a winding stairs fully adorned with white, pink & red heart shaped balloons...down to a marvelous yet romantic den...where the party is happening! hahaha... there was a buffet bar for appetizer, salad & dessert. We chose to sat on an elevated corner before finally being introduced to the "Brazilian Dining System"... a two-faced card (with a Green for a Go & Red for stop or wait) to be used for the famous serving system of grilled meat, veggies, seafood & even fruits... and that's where the fun is!
We can't help but to keep our "Green Card" ON as we enjoyed the mouthwatering food! Can't even remember the time I finally flipped the card to a " stop or wait sign ( Red Card) & finally say ... burppp! uh-uh..excuse me...hihihi... I've had enuff can you go back later, Mister... hehehe!
At last! Diantha, Hubby & I... finally had enough! after enjoying my "mango-strawberry smoothie" and my 3-rounds of "fresh green salad in balsamic vinegar & bacon bits", potato salad, grilled prawn & stewed stuffed squid plus the heaps of meat variety slices (wherein, we mostly go for beef which we prefer)...that come & go from our table since our Green Card kept staying on top & stood still...we finally flipped it to a "Red" and decided to enjoy the fresh seasonal fruits at the buffet bar then sipped our cappucino & latte before finally headed upstairs and say bayee to a sumptous meal. Whew! What a great Brazilian dining experience that is! Now I know why dear hubby can't stop blabbing about it hahaha ! Thanks Dearest Valentine (my Hubby of course!) for a whole new dining experience you shared with me... Love Yah so Much!
Happy Valentines to All !!!

Up Ahead : Our Wondrous Kiddos Birthday Bash !
click map to zoom...
It's been a year since Denzel & Dale celebrated their Birthday with their friends. This year, we originally planned to have the party @ Central Chitlom Friendly Land, as early as January this year. Everythings been set...number of kids to be invited, the cakes..the activities & games, etc., but when we are about to place the reservation and downpayment, they informed us that they can only cater parties on weekdays...Hello! I don't think that would be convenient to all our guest especially those parents working...so that's definitely a No-No. Same scenario applied in Gymboree Land in Emporium ... so, we have no other choice but to have the party back in McDonald's where it is conveniently located besides Esso Station in Rama 4 and of course the party could be anyday of the week! My mother-in-law , (loving GrandMa) would like to have Denzel's party in Manila when we get home on April...she would love to have her grandson's 7th Big Day something especial...( a Filipino Tradition wherein 1st, 7th, 13th, 18th & 21st Bdays are important & very special Bday amongst the other celebration)...We decided to have a party here as well on the exact month of his Birthday and then maybe, had another one later on... and besides, Denzel & Dale's dearest cousins Sean & Harvey are coming over on the 22nd...just in time for the big day! Hurray!!! They just miss each other so much and I can feel the excitement within them...hihihi... So for now, we are looking forward to a simple yet Fun-filled Birthday Bash on a Saturday, February 26 @ exactly 3:15 in the afternoon @ McDonald's PlayPlace. Happy Birthday Denzel & Dale...Mama & Papa loves you so much!!!

Say it with Roses...Happy Heart's Day!
The Origin of the Rose
No other flower is more commonly used than the rose. You might find it hard to believe that the rose originated in the center of the Asian continent above the Earth's equator and spread to the Northern Hemisphere. Fossils found in the US show that the wild rose is at least 40 million years old! Todate man has created 200 varieties from the original eight wild rose breeds.
English word "Rose" comes from "Rhodon", Greek for Rose. The rose has been used as symbol for many things especially Love. In addition, the rose color given on Valentine's Day has implicit meaning. And, not surprisingly, a survey of women found that their favorite flower is the Rose.
Some Number of Roses sent and it's interpretation
1 = You're the only one for me
2 = There's only you and I
3 = I Love You
4 = I Love You Forever
7 = Marriage is in our Future
9 = Let's stay together forever
33 = Love for three lifetimes
50 = Eternal Love
365 = I miss you everyday
999 = I'll Love you even when earth and heaven are no more
10,000 = I'll love you for thousands and thousands of years.
Have the Sweetest Valentine !

My OB Appointment (Feb. 4)
Yesterday's pre-natal check-up went well...except that hubby & I waited for our turn for ages as usual...hehehe. My BP's 120/70 and I now weigh 53.7 kilos! hahaha... ( 118 lbs.) from my pre-preg weight of 97 lbs. My OB said I just weigh normal and my belly's at it's average height & size. Thanks goodness! I really am feeling so bloated lately and even feeling overweight! I popped several questions during my check-up such as : C-Section delivery over Vaginal delivery; told OB about our concern of having a C-Section on this one but she overrulled since she believes that Vaginal or Normal delivery's still the best compared to healing, procedure, cost & mother's well-being (postpartum)... she said that CS shall and will only be performed in case of emergency and certain concerns which cannot be done in normal delivery. I even asked her just in case I'll have a C Section, will she perform it one week before or on my due date...she answered @ 38 wks, and still insisted on me having the baby delivered normally and if I wish...through an ephidural block, which she said was comfortable. I also raised concern over the frequent belly tightening especially when I sat down for hrs. in front of my laptop, backpains, and even occational stabbing pains around my belly. Several uneasy feelings of diarrhea & constipation, food concerns over spicy food, coffee & tea intake and so much more! hahaha... I even discussed with her if she needed to give me extra vitamins for my bone since I really am feeling terrible pain in my back...but she said, my multivitamins' all complete and I don't need any at all. Folic Acid for baby ended during my first trimester. Baby's heartbeat is normal and just so happy & delighted to hear her once again. I also insisted on having another U/S scan on my next appointment to reconfirm baby's gender and she noted my request...so on my next appointment, I'll be seeing Dr. Prakrit again at 1 pm before my GTT screening test for Gestational Diabetes wherein I'll be taking sugar, and lots of it! before finally meeting my good & very approachable OB, Dra. Anong for another pregnancy discussion. Next Appoinment : Friday 4th March 2005 @ 1 pm
